Next Campaign.

The chances of me starting up another campaign before the end of the semester is not likely.

However, I may run a campaign over the summer. We'll see how my classe and stuff go.

Session Nine...?

Session Nine may or may not take place this Saturday.

Reasons mainly being: at this point in time when I will arrive is slightly a mystery. Of course I'm going to try to make it back Saturday, but it will probably be sometime between 12:00 PM - 5:00 PM. Big time gap difference.

After this problem, we some other issues... Will the Cisler Center be open for the use of Peacock Cove? And how the hell do we keep track of everyone and in good communication (because this Blog only does so well)? I don't expect everyone to stare at this blog.

With all that said... I submit the following plan to you guys: Assume the game will start around 5:00 PM. Or rather, try to meet at my place at around that time. From there, we will figure out where we'll play the game (and, yes, my place is an option.)

As always, I'm open to suggestions. Which reminds me, if Saturday is too much of a rush, or something, I'm perfectly willing to host a game on Sunday as well, and if people want it I may host two games this weekend.

If there is any change in plans, I'll be sure to post it on here.

Session Eight.

The Location of Session Eight will be at 317 Sheridan Drive.

You guys will be starting right after you finishing off the Pikemen and Archers, backed up by the Orc Cleric.

The Blog will be updated later; I'm currently getting ready to head out, so I can set up the encounter.

Session Seven.

I have decided to try to host session seven before I leave to go home for spring break.

There are several issues though:
1) Cisler Center will not reserve rooms this weekend (possibly for the whole break.)
2) That said... Where the hell am I going to host a game? That I am figuring out.
3) Some people will not be able to make it.

Either way... The session will most likely start out post-battle, with the arrival of the Cavalry.

Session Six.

Session six will start out with the Survivors initally scattered and running from the remaining Orc/Hobbies force.

You guys may very easily get seperated, and some individual encounters may happen.

Once all that nonsense is clear, done, and out of the way... Well... You'll see. :)

Feats, Prestiges Classes, and IAC! Oh my!

Right; I'm trying to come up with some more feats, as well as balance out/redo IAC for better multi-classing (which might be the end of me), as well as possibly to go beyond level ten. In addition, I'm balancing a new Prestige Class, a work-in-progress since the end of the summer.

These ideas, and possibly more, I will try to list on this thread (though at a later date) so you guys can look them over, review them, and give your comments/concerns.

Also, feel free to mention any of your own ideas; I will take them into consideration.

Session Five.

I'm looking forward to this next session as well.

It's safe to say that all of you can expect some combat.

I have the Alumni Room again; same time.

You guys will start the game off right where you left off; you just successfully cleared out the Watch Tower.

Session Four.

Several random notes:

First, I may have two new players joining: My brother and another bloke named Jason Fall.

I will keep up with my discipline of Out-of-Character/Table-Talk/Digressions - last session I actually had to raise my voice, which I do not like doing.

A system I have been trying to to come up with for a while turns out to be in the Miniatures handbook. Using a Sense Motive check, you can judge how difficult an opponent may be. I probably won't be implementing this soon, because I need to ponder over it.

... I can't think of anything else.

With that said, like mentioned in the previous thread, the first part of Session Four is already planned out - taking back a watchtower.

We are scheduled for the same time and same place: Alumni room in the Cisler Center. 12:00 PM - Close.

Session Three

I have all my books and notes with me again, finally.

I have a room reserved for this Saturday, 12:00 PM - Close... But tomorrow I have to double-check to see which room they will give us. A student-worker was there when I reserved, and was unsure, so that's why we have the discrepancy.

I will be more strict with Out-of-character comments and digressions this upcoming game.

Session Two, 2007.

The Alumni Room is reserved, 12:00 PM - Close. I will be there, at the very least, 1:00 PM, but will probably be there more around 12:00 PM.

My notes and books should be delivered sometime this week; hopefully before this saturday so I can refresh my memory. Either way, experience points and loot will be doled out at the beginning of the session for the rest of last session.

Also, at the beginning of the session I would like to take a look and go over all of your character sheets just to see that everyone is on the same page and up-to-date. On the same subject, Bleek, I think you still need a feat, as well as choosing your spells, 'cause I don't think we finished any of that business last game.

I can't think of anything else to add, but if I come up with something I'll add it as a reply.

Any questions?

The First Session of 2007.

The actual date is still in the works, because of some major issues. Assume this Saturday (1-20-07) , as usual. We currently do not have a room reserved; that issue will be taken care of tomorrow. Even no one, or not enough people show up, I will probably stay until about 5 or 6 o'clock PM, to make notes among other things and discuss issues and ideas.

Pretty much the prime major issue is Time Scheduling; Garrett, Jakobian, and Stanly the Manly will be involved in Robotics. Skylar may also possibly joined, but he's going to test the waters first. I don't really know the schedule for Robotics very well, but I do know that their meetings on Saturdays lasts from 9:00 AM to... Whenever the hell they are done. I am told they are often not done until late at night.

To this issue, I have a couple ideas in mind:
1) Reschedule to best first everyone's schedule. (This is currently what I'm trying to do.)
2) Postpone the game until a better time.
3) If most everyone is okay with it, replace players so things may go on.

The last thing I want to do is scrap the whole thing. If the game has to be postponed, even for a semester, I'm willing to do it, but some players may find that unfair.

My schedule for a week is as follows:
Mondays through Thursdays, I have class 1:00 - 3:00 PM
Monday, Wednesday, and Friday I also class 11:00 - 12:00 PM
Tuesday and Thursday, I have class 5:00 - 6:40 PM

So, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays are my primary offdays. Monday and Wednesdays are next in line, and lastly... well... Yeah. I certainly don't think we should do anything on Tuesdays and Thursdays, unless you guys are willing to take an extended break, or two, or want smaller sessions. Also, I think it should be said that two of my classes wanted multiple papers to be written, so there may be times that I may be too tied up to have an open schedule.

As for postponing the game... I'm okay with it, if you guys are.

Replacing players is... a bitch, but doable thanks to how the campaign is set up. I'll only do it if the other people don't mind. I have several people "In line up" that can be potential players. First is Logan, who will observe a game or two when we get around to starting them. Then there is Lisa and Dave, who will only play together, and only if they have the time to play (both are really busy. We also have a guy named Blaze (I can't remember how his last name is spelled) who has played in one of my games before, and is a decent guy. Lastly, we have my own brother, who as a player is best summed up as being rather quiet - the only problem is that he lives 60 miles away.

The only other issue I can think up of off-hand is that I, very stupidly and accidently, left my DnD books and notes at home. I know several people have the books in electronic format, if they come that will help a lot. Plot and story-wise, it won't affect anything at all, because everything I also have up in my head. NPC character details is the only thing I'm really worried about, but those can be easily reproduced with just some time and work.

I can't think of anything else at the moment.

So... Questions, Comments, and Concerns?

Purpose of this Blog.

The general purpose of this blog is to have better communication. I will use it to post when and where we have our gaming sessions, put up new ideas for feats, rule changes, classes, prestige classes, etc. etc.

I don't intend it for only my game's use; I encourage everyone else to utilize it as well.

So, feel free to post about... Just about anything.
